The Experiment
I thought long and hard about how "appreciation" is shown in games. How do player's appreciate the game? How does the player appreciate the player? I came across usual answers such as stories, achievements, favor points (NPC behaviors), and luck/charisma in RPGs.
This is a time when many questions and critiques in the job market are coming about, no more infamous than in the hospitality industry. After some research, I aimed to show the player the bleak reality and see how the player reflects at the end.
